Join the Lee Lab
The Won Lee Lab explores the frontiers of biochemistry, metabolism, and molecular physiology. We are looking for curious, driven, and collaborative scientists who want to make meaningful contributions to our research while growing their own skills and careers.
Postdoctoral Fellows
We welcome applications from talented researchers ready to take their science to the next level. If you join us, you’ll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, access state-of-the-art facilities, and collaborate with a dynamic research community at Yonsei University.
To apply, please email wdlee@yonsei.ac.kr with:
- A cover letter — describing your past research, your future goals, and why you’d like to join the Lee Lab.
- Your CV.
- Contact information (email and phone) for three references.
We’re especially excited to hear from you if you have experience in:
- Mass spectrometry or (organic) chemistry
- Mitochondrial bioenergetics and biochemistry
- Mouse physiology and metabolism
- Nanotechnology or microfluidics or engineering
- Computational biology or bioinformatics
We value strong publication records, creativity, and a willingness to apply for fellowships to support your work.
Graduate Students
If you’re a Yonsei University graduate student looking for a lab, get in touch — we always have room for motivated, enthusiastic scientists.
If you are not yet at Yonsei, you’ll need to apply to one of our graduate programs before joining the lab.
Undergraduate Students
Interested in gaining hands-on research experience? We welcome undergraduate students who want to contribute to exciting biochemical and metabolic research projects.
Please send an email to wdlee@yonsei.ac.kr with:
- Your prior experience and relevant coursework.
- How much time you can commit to the lab.
- What excites you about our research.
Our Values
In the Lee Lab, we believe great science comes from curiosity, collaboration, and a supportive environment.
We actively encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds, and we are committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and creative research space.
If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
